Jared got his first brand new vehicle - a Nissan Frontier truck - this month.

We went to the big band performance of "Celebrate America." It featured many instrumentals, singing, and dancing - not to mention a great dinner.
Jared rode on the Brent Mortensen Lotoja relay team with us this year. He rode Logan to Preston. Here he is just about to leave.

I rode Preston to Montpelier. Dave Mortensen rode Montpelier to Afton. Brent rode Afton to Alpine Junction. And Melissa, Dave's wife, finished up with Alpine to Teton Village. Here we are at the end.
Gayle and I stayed over with the Mortensens at their cabin in Star Valley, WY and got in a game of golf too.

We were saddened by the passing of our long time friend, Kevin Large, this month. Some of our family were able to drive down for his funeral. Here is a recent shot of the Large family. Kevin, in the wheelchair, had PLL (Pro Lymphocytic Leukemia).
Jared and Dallin Large have been friends since pre-school.
Alicia and Kristy have been friends since pre-school too.
We've known the Larges since 1984. Here are Nancee and Gayle - best friends forever.
